The school is located just a minute from the West Gate of the Inokashira Line’s Shibuya Station in Tokyo.
For foreigners, lessons are available in English and French.

A wide variety of home-made glazes (more than 30) are available.
You may obtain satisfactory glaze effects of a professional level.

We have two electric kilns. Both reduction and oxidation firing are done.

A variety of clay is available, including eight kinds of white and red clay, fire-resistant clay, etc.

You can learn underglaze painting with cobalt oxide and iron oxide, over-glaze painting with colors and over-glaze painting with gold and silver.

Works made by prize winners


Many students in the advanced course won prizes in amateur pottery and ceramic contests, including the Nabeshima grand prix in the International Amateur Ceramic Contest in Imari, Japan.

















Director and Teacher



Isoko Kato. MA Tokyo University of Arts. Studied at the Ecole National Superieur Des BEAUX-ARTS, Paris with a French government scholarship.
Other teachers graduated from Art College and experienced in teaching.
